 On March 31, a delegation from the Party Committee and Government of Dayao County, Chuxiong Prefecture, Yunnan Province visited Donghao Lansheng Group (DLG) to dock with the poverty alleviation work. Wang Qiang, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of DLG, and Li Dong, Vice Party Secretary and Vice President of DLG attended the poverty alleviation docking meeting. Lu Jifeng, Vice Director of the People's Congress of Chuxiong Prefecture and Party Secretary of CPC Dayao County Committee reported the recent progress of Dayao County in poverty alleviation and pandemic prevention and control. Dayao County went out of poverty in 2019, and the phased work of “Two No Worries and Three Guarantees” has been completed. In 2019, the per capita annual income of the poor reached 11,600 yuan, and the e-commerce sales of agricultural products recorded 98 million yuan, which has taken an initial shape. However, due to the outbreak of African swine fever in 2019 and the novel coronavirus pandemic in 2020, the current labor migration and sales of agricultural and special products have been affected, and there are still many deficiencies in medical care and education. The county Party committee and the county government will continue to work hard on improving the weak links, and do a good job in poverty alleviation in accordance with the requirements of “six precisions”, “five ‘one batch’" and “four overall plans", so as to live up to the expectations of the people and the expectations of the leaders. First, help to establish sales platforms and sales channels for agricultural specialties. ITG has planned to set up the first phase of 400 square meters of Yunnan specialties area in the National Exhibition and Convention Center. The purpose is not only to exhibit, but also to establish group purchase channels for Yunnan specialties, especially for the agricultural specialties in Dayao area, so as to support the poverty alleviation program in the form of “love featured commodities” exhibition and sales. Second, help solve the labor employment problem in poverty-stricken areas. With unique advantages in training, recruitment and customer resources, FSG will further make good use of the policies, match the supply and demand between the labor force in poor areas and the enterprises awaiting work and production resumption, thus helping the stranded and surplus poor labor force out of Dayao County. In addition, the Group will also provide assistance to meet the demands of Dayao County and the Group’s pairing poor villages in the aspects like health and education. After the meeting, Dayao County also had in-depth exchanges with the relevant industrial groups of DLG on specific projects such as coffee bean sales and agricultural and featured products entering the exhibition and sales center.
